Hawaii Life......

It's been along time. We are now based in VP-47 squadron in Kaneohe Marine Corps Base in Oahu, Hawaii. Although we have spent one month there before our first deployment, we are so excited to spend the next few years calling Hawaii home. It is the kind of place where you never wanna be inside. The water is amazing and the few hikes we went on were so unbelievable.
I can't wait for this deployment to be over!!! To be back together as a family and enjoying life in Hawaii. I look forward to most! It's been a blessing and hard living with family all at the same time.
Logan is getting so big. He is 15 months old now and practically running. He has 12 teeth and working on a few more. Logan just had his first hair cut a few days ago. It was bittersweet. He looks like such a big boy now.
I miss Aaron so very much. It's been 4 months since I have held him. I am ready to have my husband back. This is the longest we have been apart in our 11 years together, I am counting down the days till we are together again. I know Logan misses his daddy and will enjoy having him back too.
I am hoping to do Beach to Bay in Texas this May. I am excited to get back into training. This will be my third Beach to Bay. Hopefully these new shoes from Fleet Feet will help some. I have been struggling with some numb toes.

Were Back

Were back in Florida again. Aaron is flying the P3 here at NAS Jacksonville. Last weekend he had an amazing opportunity to fly it to South Dakota for an airshow. He had so much fun. Wishing Logan and I could have gone with him. Logan is getting so big. He is 6 months old now and is so full of energy. He loves to smile and enjoys when we take him outside. We are so blessed to have such an amazing little boy in our lives. A few weeks ago we started getting him in the pool and he loves it. Hopefully soon I can get him in some swimming lessons. Mom and dad will be here on the 16th for our trip to Disney. I can't wait to see them and hold my niece. She has gotten so big! After that we will be off to Alabama for some more family time. Can't wait! June is going to be a great month!

A few more days....

1 More week till Christmas day! We will be going to Mom and Dad's in the morning and Granny's at night and I can't wait. Wishing the rest of the family would be here though.
Looking for a rental home in Jacksonville, Florida. I love going to new places but finding a home..not so much. I just want to have one without all of the looking.
Jess, Brian, and Caden will be here very soon. 8 more days! We are going to spend some much needed time catching up and celebrating the arrivals of our baby boys born in 2010. CAN'T WAIT!

So two weeks old today....Logan looks more and more grown up every day. He is trying to lift his head and has an occasional smile while he dreams. It has been an adjustment being a mommy but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I only hope I am a good one and he has a great life.
Only 3 more weeks till we leave to Jacksonville, Florida. Were excited to get there and get settled in to our new home. I am going to enjoy the next few weeks with family and friends.

Just got back from a morning walk. It was so nice to get outside in the cool air and listen to music. I won't have many more days without my little one.
38 weeks now 21 more to go. Logan will be here next week and I can't wait to hold my baby. FINALLY!
Everyone is so excited. Connie left Alabama to head here today and Barry is flying in on Monday morning. Mom took off from school on Monday next week so they can be there too. It's going to be nice having the whole family together.
